Wasabi Orachi (japonica

wasabi Japonica , Orochi  varieties are suitable for soil planting - these are not water varieties.
Orochi is a multi stemmed variety. They prefer cooler areas for planting with 70 - 80 percent shade. Water regularly but don’t over water them.
The plant can be harvested after around 18 months - two years and smaller plants removed from the main stem for replanting.

You can plant them in the bag, container, 
The entire plant can be eaten - the main stem grated for wasabi paste for flavor on all meats and fish. Leaves can be used for salads and for pickling.

Grow condition 70-80% shade area,plant them in the pot,bi bag and  50 % mix of Potting soil  and 50% perlite  preferably-and  ensure  the mix has been thoroughly soaked before planting. This will help assist the plant to revive  themselves  after  traveling.
