Phaseolus acutifolius,also known as tepary bean, is a legume  native to the southwestern  United States and Mexico and has been grown there by native people since pre -Colombia times
It is drought-resistant than the common bean (Phaseolusvulgaris)
Tepary bean  They are high in protein and contain  soluble fiber  helpful in controlling cholesterol and diabetes .
