Ribwort plantain

Plantago lanceolata is a species of flowering plant in the family of plantaginaceae. It is also known by common names ribwort plantain, narrowleaf plantain, English plantain, ribleaf, lamb's tongue, and buckhorn.
Ribwort plantain contains 2-3% iridoids (bitter-tasting secondary plant substances),including aucubin,which has antibiotics properties,

Ribwort plantain tea can be made from these dried leaves by adding about a teaspoon  to a  full cup of boiling water. This is good for dry coughs,inflamed bowels,hemorrhoids, and  cystitis

The flowers' heads taste surprisingly like mushrooms 
Ribwort leaves are edible, raw, or cooked 
And used in medicine uses.
