The peanut, also known as the groundnuts, goober, goober pea, pindar, or monkey nut, is a legume crop mainly for its edible seeds,edible flesh when they are full mature by boiling, roasting.

Peanuts have a unique ability to improve soil,they are nitrogen fixing, which means they take nitrogen  from the air and produce their own in the ground, which benefits other  crop.
